My LiveJournal Profile And Journal Guidelines

Effective Wednesday, December 11, 2009, I have relocated my journal/blog back here to Livejournal.com.

Since this journal/blog, is both "public" and "semi-private", or "friends only". Comments, to this journal/blog, are set so that only "friends" of this journal/blog, can comment on any of the journal/blog entries. So, to read any of the "semi-private", or "friends only " journal/blog entries, and/or to comment on any of the journal/blog entries, you must first become a "friend" of this journal/blog. To become a "friend" of this journal/blog, you must have a LiveJournal account, which can be obtained for "FREE", meaning it will NOT cost you anything to open a LiveJournal account. Once you HAVE a LiveJournal account, simply click the icon on my LiveJournal Profile Page where it says to "add friend". Once you do that you will then have made this journal/blog a "friend" of your journal/blog. And once that happens, I will then be notified of that action, and I will then make you a "friend" of this journal/blog. Mission Statement

Hello... My name is Nicole "Mickey" Maschke. I'm 58, a spinal fusion & throat Cancer survivor. I am transgendered female and have been happily married to my biologically female wife, Aileen, for 15 wonderful years. I have lived with constant pain for 40 years, with pain medication being totally ineffective, due to severe nerve damage. As a result I have suffered multiple nervous breakdowns, from the constant pain.

I've owned 4 of my own companies and been part owner, with my father, in our own company, Pioneer Linen Supply Co. until 1975. As of 3 years ago, my physical condition has become terminal, with severe bone and nerve damage. Having only 1 lung to breathe with, legally blind in my right eye, my hands and bones in severe distress, I am pretty much bed bound these days. Not having many years left. But, for a serious explanation of why I am doing this journal, please feel free to read my journal entry entitled, "Emergency Help".

I was born an orphan. Then I was adopted into a rather famous and quite wealthy family. I ended up being disowned by my entire adoptive family because of my adoptive Mother's hatred for me. And, as a result of her hatred , life was somewhat hard for me. For I am a child abuse survivor. My adoptive mother beat me with a steel rod from age 4 through 16. And, like so many of my brothers and sisters, no one ever knew. Daily children are being killed as a result of child abuse. I'm one of the lucky ones... I survived... many do not... they die...

As an iconoclast, I dedicate my life, meaning the remainder of my life, to the destruction of any and all religious and/or superstitious symbols, whereby those symbols in fact, either impeach, or abrogate the freedoms of, or prevent, or impede the positive growth, and/or evolution of humankind.

One of the main reasons I work so hard for human rights can best be summed up in the courageous words of this young lady.

And let me also say, that while our world is now thriving on how much HATRED everyone can demonstrate toward each other, I have always believed, and shall believe to my last breath, that there are those of us in this world who REFUSE to take part in, or support, the OPEN HATRED that so many groups are promoting and supporting. If whatever God there is in the world, regardless of what faith or belief you have, will NOT allow the smallest sparrow to fall to the ground, then why should any of us do any less?

(for the record, I AM PRO LIFE. I do NOT support violence against, or the killing of ANY human being under any circumstances! And the only way that I ever deviate from that stand is that I do not believe that God has ever given any human the right to dictate to any woman how she is to arbitrate her life with the All Mighty, and/or God. Therefore, I believe that all women deserve the right to choose for themselves the fate of their own bodies, pursuant to their relationship with the All Mighty, and/or God.)

Due to extensive bone and nerve damage as a result of my physical condition becoming more terminal, I used a speech program in order to be able to interface with, and use my computer. From time to time in this speech program will in fact make mistakes. Your consideration and understanding regarding this aspect of my life is greatly appreciated.

It is important to remember that no matter how passionate I get or how my vernacular, may in fact be bombastic, and even rude, that the reality is, that I do in fact have an extremely deep appreciation for humanity and the life that I have lived.

And so I spend most of my days, while being basically bed bound, doing financial and scientific research and crusading for human rights.

That being said, I don't make any excuses for the positions I take. My life is simply that. my life.

As an iconoclast I am not charged with the duty of becoming famous or well liked or making lots of money. As an iconoclast I have no agenda with regard to anything I write other than to simply do one thing. In a world where almost everyone lies these days, my Journal is simply about doing the one thing that I do most of all as iconoclast....
